More of Heaton Park could be seen in episode 3 - where Charmian was in the car with the chap and also walking near The Temple. I also believe from a friend of a friend who saw them filming, that some of the pub scenes were filmed in Manchester's Britons Protection pub on Great Bridgewater Street.
