As a Protection Warrior I'm looking forward to this change going live. I'll have to fork over another 8,g or so, but such is the price of epics. A closer look at the rings and their stats after the break. The loop is nice for those casters who want mana regen Warlocks, har har har. The spell power increase of 59 points is equal to that of the Signet of the Kirin Tor , however this ring is lacking the direct increase to critical strike and haste that the Signet has.
Expect healers to be happy with this one. The Ring of the Kirin Tor is a good tanking ring. Some might like it for PvP as well. Strength instead of agility, expertise instead of haste, this is much better itemised for plate classes than the band of the kirin tor, which would be taken by agility based classes like rogues and hunters.

Comment by sopor30 I bought this ring back during the Lich King expansion and it has been worth every penny copper that I shelled out for it, as it essentially provides me with a second hearth.
Since there is a portal to Org Stormwind too, I assume in Dalaran, this allows one to set their hearthstone to some other place, and then use this ring to get back to Org Stormwind through the port in Dalaran.
They encourage end-game and this would be a minor though welcomed addition for getting there faster. Comment by Shiranui I do legacy raid runs every week which includes all the Wrath raids, what I like to do is buy the ring, use it at the end of each raid, then go back to the vendor and get a refund of gold, purchase it again which refreshes the refund duration back to 2 hours.
