Where is kambah adventure playground

The park has an adventure playground, picnic area, barbecue and public toilets. The adventure playground is designed for all ages and features a tree house, junior and senior flying foxes, giant swings, space net and wheelchair accessible liberty swing.

Developed over 30 years ago around the historic homestead, this unique 22 hectare park offers a wide range of activities for all age groups. Many of the old homestead elements remain including a woolshed, Nissen hut, meat safe and tennis court and cottage now the YMCA playschool. A key is required. The savannah woodland area on which the park has been created was previously a rural property known originally as "Sulwood".

At the turn of the century however it had become known as "Kambah" and is believed to have been operated as an outstation by the Campbells of Yarralumla until when purchased by the Commonwealth.
